The Floyd County Library is collaborating with Attorney Jim Plitz to provide the Free Estate Planning series. This session is on the Estate Tax: Where it is today, and where it may go tomorrow.
Tax is something no one likes to deal with – especially after we die! And that is what an Estate Tax is: a tax on the stuff you have accumulated before it passes to your family. Who pays an estate Tax? What are the current rates? Since I don’t plan to die this year, where is the Estate Tax going?
